BACKGROUND

Shure Incorporated is a North American audio products corporation founded in 1925. The organization is a consumer and professional audio-electronics manufacturer of microphones, wireless microphone systems, discussion systems, mixers, and digital signal processing.

CHALLENGE

Shure evolved its legacy commerce platform to SAP Commerce and engaged with ECENTA to both migrate the system technically, and manage the change across multiple business units with ECENTA’s Organizational Change Management services. The organization’s commerce platform is utilized by external dealers and internal sales teams across more than 10 countries, and the engagement ensured effective adoption of the new platform and successful roll outs.

HOW ECENTA HELPED

ECENTA developed a change management strategy and plan, including instituting a group of change champions across the organization. These champions for the new commerce site were involved throughout the engagement and evangelized the changes throughout the organization - acting as resources for the internal Shure sales teams and external dealers.

ECENTA also developed a change impact assessment, including role mapping and process change. Existing roles were assessed for how their responsibilities may change, while also accounting for any net new roles needed to support the solution globally.

ECENTA served as advisor for communication and training plans, as well as post go-live support models – which allowed Shure to map the pathing for feedback from users to ensure a strong support framework. Finally, ECENTA developed a post go-live adoption survey to identify the overall sentiment of the new solution,the adoption rates, and any areas requiring additional training.
